Remembering Our Veterans on 11/11/11
Knights of Columbus Council 8791 will acknowledge their brother knights who are Veterans tonight, Tuesday November 8th, with the Patriotic Service Award. Come to the meeting and share this special moment during the Serving Those Who Served Certificate Program with the men who fought for our freedom and thank them for their service! Meeting will be held in the Social Hall at the Prince of Peace Church at 7pm.

In Service To Our Country
For most men who follow Jesus, there comes a time when duty extends beyond our own lives, beyond how we lead our families, and into how we serve our fellow man. That's what the Knights of Columbus is all about. The 4th Degree, also known as the Patriotic Degree, allows knights to take this one step further. "Sir Knight" is more than a title. It's an honor. Knights of the 4th Degree are dedicated to the personal development and continued honor of brother Knights. We are always there to offer leadership, guidance, and encouragement. We glorify God by serving our communities and nations as though Christ were the one being served. We hold unwaveringly to what is right and honorable, working to keep God in the civic arena, serving the life of the Church, and defending laws that recognize the sanctity of life and true religious liberty. As the Visible Arm of the Knights of Columbus, the Color Corps is an elective division of this Patriotic Degree which presents us with a reminder of our service to God, our country, and our community.
